The whole idea behind the creation of Paço do Bispo Boutique Hotel is to make your stay a unique experience. Paço do Bispo Boutique House is a small 18th century mansion which features 9 luxury rooms, a studio, a penthouse and a small chapel from which the name of the hotel derives. Paço do Bispo is located in Penha Longa, in the heart of the Serra de Sintra, and is part of the Sintra-Cascais Nature Reserve.
Paço do Bispo has been thoroughly renovated under the supervision of the architect Luis Bleck da Silva who was at great pains to maintain the 18th century features of the original building. The mansion has a total of 11 rooms. The architect Sara Mendes de Almeida, responsible for the interior design, opted for a minimalist decoration which would reflect both the beauty of old Portuguese architecture and the modernity of today’s lifestyle. The old winery has been converted into a modern gymnasium, the original chapel into a guest lounge. There is a sauna and a swimming-pool which provides a magnificent panoramic view of the Serra de Sintra. We also provide a chauffered private car service to and from Lisbon airport. We are within 5 km of Sintra and Estoril and very near golf courses and tennis courts.
